My morning commute = Lakshmipuram, India

Lakshmipuram is a suburb of Mysore, India.
This is the house where I live.

Some of the sites I see on my 6:30 AM walk to the shala.

More cows.
Cow portrait.

Crossing the road.

My pineapple-papaya man.

Another shot of my pineapple/papaya man. He puts salt and pepper on it too. It's amazing.

My jack-fruit guy.

My coconut water guy.

Every morning the cows get milked.

It's 6:30 AM and your taking pictures?!

The cows have been milked. Waiting for customers.

Customers... fresh milk.

At the shala.

No shoes.

Back at home. My landlady buys vegetables. Carts go up and down the blocks selling vegetables and fruit.

Back at home.

The front door. My landlady always makes a Rangoli at the entrance. It's a Hindu folk tradition that expresses warm hospitality.

The door to my room.

My room.

The bathing bucket room.

The hot water is heated with a fire made from dried coconuts and wood. Buckets are ready for mixing the hot with the cold.
